Antique Bentwood Dry Measure Grain Box

$98.00

These bentwood grain measures are usually attributed to Daniel Cragin of New Hampshire but I can’t find a makers mark to confirm. They are sought after by collectors of primitive Americana and antique tools due to their historical context and craftsmanship. This is a quite large one measuring about 14.5” in diameter and 7.25” tall. It shows many signs of age including scratching and stains, which just makes it all the more charming.
